Our Locality We have a shop and pub in our peaceful rural village. With the benefit of it being only 2 kilometres to regional centre of Tolmin with full services, medical centre, dentist, solicitors, library, supermarkets, clothing shops, shoe shops, hardware, restaurants, museum, etc.  Skiing in winter, then rafting, paragliding fishing and all summer
sports. Skiing Central position with ski centre of Sella Nevea in Italy. Cerkno 35 minutes away has a wide range of slopes.
Or visit the Italian ski field of Tarvisio, the huge Austrian field of Nassfeldand and the closer Arnoldstein. For Winter  Carnival in Venezia (Venice).
| Tourism and days out. As well as the sights and activities nearby we have the advantage of being close to Italy and Austria for day trip visits.  Visit Aquileia the ancient
Roman town which was founded in 181 BC. The Basilica was built in the
11C on the ruins of a 4C building, It is a Romanesque church with its
campanile tower has a gorgeous and lavish mosaic floor from the 4C. See
also the unearthed remains of Roman Aquileia, including the Via Sacra
leading to the river port, house and the forum. Only a hour and a
quarter away.  Stroll the up market shops in Udine, have a relaxing drink in the Piazza.  Visit the Outlet Village shops near Pradamano, get the unique Italian style at bargain prices.  Fabulous Lion guarding the beautiful Predel Pass between Slovenia and Italy. | Summer Activities  Walk to the Soca River for rafting, fishing, etc. Rafting, kayaking, canyoning, 1/2 kilometer from the house.  Paragliding.
Hang gliding. Walk to the landing point close by. The mountains all around provide
