See also the unearthed remains of Roman Aquileia, including the Via Sacra leading to the river port, house and the forum. Only a hour and a quarter away.  Or stroll the up-market shops in Udine, and then have a relaxing drink in the Piazza. Visit the Outlet Village shops near Pradamano, get the unique Italian style at bargain prices.
